I have some dear friends, a husband and wife, who recently vacationed at a dude ranch in Montana. The wife is an experienced horsewoman, while the husband is an absolute tenderfoot. They enjoyed shorter guided rides together. She actually got to experience the thrill of moving a herd of cattle from one pasture to another with the more experienced riders, while he enjoyed some excellent fishing. They found a place that met both their needs and had a wonderful and memorable horse vacation together. They’re still talking about it.

We did some research to find excellent resources for locating and comparing dude ranches, guest ranches, etc. Using these informative links, you should be able to find the perfect place for the ultimate horse vacation and the ultimate gift.
